The school is at 3794 Shumba Road, Old Windsor Park, Ruwa, Harare. Student transport services are available to and from surrounding local areas, extending to Harare CBD.

Winwood was founded in 2014 by the late visionary entrepreneur Mr Oneday Muponda and opened in January 2015 on the former Old Windsor Stadium site. The school continues his commitment to academic excellence, character development and holistic student growth under Mrs Annia Nyeruke and the Board of Directors.
